Mittens #42: A Stinkle Bit

This was my last Christmas order and I barely finished it on Christmas Eve. Friend of mine wanted mittens for her father with a little inside joke written on the wrist: "We love you a stinkle bit".

Mittens #41: Frozen Snowlake

I was in love these ones. The colours looked great together, and I love the Latvian snowflake pattern. Easy to memorize and work with. This time I worked brick red yarn in intarsia to give the pattern a little change.

Mittens #40: Snow Flowers

I made a big order of mittens for Christmas and this one was one of my favourites of the bunch. They were for a beautiful young lady, and these colours just fit her very well. I Swiss stitched the white on the top afterwards.

Mittens #39: Hearts Hearts

My friend's daughter turned three years old and so I made her these green striped mittens with pink crocheted hearts on them.

Mittens# 38: Airplane Baby Mittens

Good friend of mine had a baby boy and the theme for her baby shower was airplanes so I got inspired and knitted her airplane baby mittens (without thumbs). It has been cold so they have been very useful! I have knitted one size bigger for my older baby and I am working on a pair for my three-year-old that will have thumbs. I will be posting this pattern on my Ravelry pattern store later.

Mittens #37: Anatolian in Cobalt Blue

Mittens #36: Purple

Mittens #35: Tricolour Latvian

The white I knitted in intarsia and the red and the turquoise is stranded.

Mittens #34: Oh Canada

One of my best friends is Canadian and she ordered a pair of mittens with a patriotic twist for her father for Christmas. I am so excited to post about this now that there is no way I could spoil the surprise!
The top motif is a Latvian one, and she wanted "True", "North", "strong" and "free" on cursive on the wrists. They are from the Canadian National Anthem.

Woolies #8

These colours looked great together so I made a pair of long woolies with lots of little stripes!
